just finished reading a manga series that i started last year, it's short (considering) and very good (if it wasn't i would not be typing this journal or up this late/early)
it is called Saikano: the last love song on this little planet
if you are interested [link]
just to give you a heads up; there's nakedness...and some gore...but mainly boob kissing. by chapter 60-something it gets raunchy. it is rated M.

"Allen I want to see a lion. Bring me one."
It is sickening. I believe I'm of average intelligence too. People at school tended to think of me as a genius, but I was like "No, I'm not a genius. I just do my homework, unlike you." LOL

I have a friend who thinks I'd make a great teacher. She's a slow learner and she had me tudor her, and she said that the way I explained everything reminded her of a teacher. I don't want to be a teacher though. I don't want to deal with kids like that. It's a noble job but it would drive me bonkers. Yeah, it drives me nuts when kids don't know why their failing and here they hardly ever come to class and they sleep when they do.

OMG, I hate that program too! It's ridiculous! But I also have to say that I've dealt with some genuinely stupid teachers, and others that were asses. I had this one teacher who picked favorites and would lose students's assignments on purpose just so she could fail them, when really they were doing their work.
you mean "tutor", "tudor" was the english royal families last name back in the medievil era.

wow, what a bitch. i've had teachers who like to play favorites but they would just give their favorites more leniancey on tests and quizes and randomly give them extra credit.

Sorry about my spelling. I actually knew the difference between "tutor" and "tudor" but I was typing to fast to catch my mistake. I feel silly. :blushes:

Yeah, she was a bitch. I had another teacher--an art teacher--who jumped my case about things that she let other students get away with. I love learning and I have respect for teachers, but schools need to watch who they hire.
sometimes its not so bad when a teacher jumps on your case, my art teacher and my english teacher jumps at me all the time but that is just becuase they expect more out of me than they other students cause they know i'll live up to their challenges.

yeah...typos can really suck.

That's true, but this teacher was not that way. The other students that got away with things were students who had just as much, if not more, potential that I had. She just picked favorites, and she didn't like me for whatever reason. She even admitted at the beginning of the year that she was judgmental and unfair; she told us that she was lenient to some students and not to others, and that she was also sexist. She was a hateful bitch.

Yeah, typos are a pain.
